Spiced Tea

Make your own spiced tea. Brilliant when your feeling a little delicate as you have complete control of flavours and strength.

1 big pot/ saucepan of water.

1 normal teabag/ tea leaves.

1 stick of cinnamon

5 cloves

1 star anise

1 tsp vanilla sugar*/ 1 vanilla pod

1 slice of lemon/ orange – optional**

almond milk – optional**

*to make your own vanilla sugar just put a few vanilla pods and your preferred sugar in a pot and leave for a week or so before beginning to use.

**really all of the ingredients are optional and changeable depending on your own taste. Try adding grated ginger, nutmeg, almond – anything, just remember all of the tastes should be quite mild – so don’t put too much in.

Boil it all up together and drink hot.

You can keep topping up your pot with more water all day if you like, just add more tea when it gets too weak for you.
